The portfolio is built by analyzing fundamentals of companies expected to maintain pricing power over the long-term time horizon based on their competitiveness and on market demand for their capabilities. These companies have demonstrated earnings consistency with strong balance sheets and forward-looking revenue growth potential.
WHAT WE CONSIDER
- In 2014, urban congestion cost the country $160 billion in wasted time and fuel, according to INRIX. The average American household today loses 6% of its pre-tax income every year due to inadequate infrastructure spending.
- According to the American Society of Civil Engineers, the U.S. needs to spend $4.6 trillion over the next 10 years just to avoid further waste of “livability”
- Given that approximately half of the country’s infrastructure spending is funded by the federal government, major responsibility lies with Washington.
